hey guys. I'm hoping to learn more about, among other things, replacing my stereo for a daily driven 2002 Range Rover P38 4.6 HSE. It currently has the Harman Kardon stereo with an Alpine head unit cassette and trunk mounted 6-Disc changer. The head unit powers up and the display works. The cassette player and AM/FM functions have sound but the volume knob itself does not adjust the volume, it only plays at an audible but less than desirable level that can not be adjusted. The steering wheel adjustments also do not work. The CD changer gives an error message when you try to use it. It currently has 88,xxx miles. I've already removed the air suspension and installed a coil over conversion using TerraFirma TF144 front / TF145 rear shock absorbers and Old Man Emu 751 front / 764 rear springs. I powder coated the stock 18" wheels and wrapped them with 275/70/R18 (about 33 inches) BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO rubber.
