  1. Rear toe links AKA lateral links/arms

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Hey guys, I’m about to change these and it seems pretty straight forward but I have a question..... Do I need to totally jack up the rear as in tire off ground in order to remove them? I’m thinking that as long as there’s no tension on the link it will be loose enough to remove safely.
  2. Determining TPMS sensor frequency

Range Rover Mark III / L322
I just had my new wheels and tires fitted today but opted to forego the TPMS sensors but I checked and the frequency on my 2010 RRS SC is indeed 315Mhz. For those that that have the IIDTool. You can disable TPMS sensors 1 and 2 in *CAR CONFIG*. I believe both need to be disabled to avoid...
  3. What do you guys think of these wheels?

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Got an excellent deal on these wheels for my 2010 RRS S/C Just wondering if anyone is running them and what their opinions are.
  4. 2010 L320 SC Owners Manual Missing

    Range Rover Sport / L320
I’ll assume you already tried this but I’m saying it anyway. Try googling it and see if one pops up or visit a dealership or call a Canadian dealership and see if any of them can find one and send it to you. It won’t be free but at least you’ll have one. It all depends on how badly you want it.
  5. oil level not available

    Range Rover Sport / L320
I confirmed this a few days ago as I had done my oil change ans was a little confused as to what was hapenning. So here is how it works. While car is running = no reading Turn car off and check = no reading Turn car off and check 20 mins later on even a slight incline = no reading The...
  6. Service reminder IID Tool

    GAP Diagnostic
Play around with your IIDTool a little more.... Just be careful as to you what you are saying "yes" or "OK" to.. That said, I need to do the same. It took me almost one hour to reset the profile for my winter tires lol.
  7. L320 Puddle Lights?

    Range Rover Sport / L320
My 2010 has them... But not branded like in the fancy shmancy pic there.
  8. Oil Catch Can

Range Rover Sport II / L494
Lol, yes Doc but have you ever put it on a 5.0SC LR engine? Looking to compare apples to apples.... To this day, I don't think anyone has done it.
  9. Oil Catch Can

Range Rover Sport II / L494
From what I've heard the 5.0 SC engines have a tough time venting the oil that climbs back up into the manifold so carbon build up eventually becomes an issue. So here's the thing about all this carbon build up controversy.... Everyone including Toadhall will say it's BS but if the 5.0 engine is...
  10. Key Fob lost in RRS?

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Mike, I had the exact same problem and I found the key lodged inside the rear pillar of the front driver’s seat. I’m just trying to describe it so bear with me. That pillar is a thick piece of stamped sheet metal and is, for lack of a better word, hollow. It’s really hard to get to but if you...
  11. 2010 RRS SC. Engaged electronic PB and

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Dammit! Happened again last night when I went to get gas. Oddly enough it went away after the first few minutes of driving
  12. Reduced Performance Warning, rough idle -- RESOLVED

    Range Rover Sport / L320
I had the rough idle issue once and basically cleaned the throttle body sensor, MAF sensor and the air filters. It solved the problem so perhaps just a little preventative upkeep will do the trick. :)
  13. 2010 RRS SC. Engaged electronic PB and

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Not a myth, you’re right. The mechanism will seize after a while if you don’t use it which is what I have not been doing. Not sure if I can start using it again without causing further damage.
  14. 2010 RRS SC. Engaged electronic PB and

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Shortly after started getting massive vibration as I exceeded 80kph. This happened two nights ago and this morning I did the unjam procedure using the IIDTOOL and it helped. I’m guessing that because I don’t use the electronic PB all the time, it’s starting to seize. Anyone else run into this...
  15. Prep for winter?

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Hey guys, The rover has been flawless over the summer. Not one single issue except for the engine needing a carbon treatment. My question is what would be the best things to do other that an oils spray to winter proof this thing? Last winter the tranny coolant lines rusted out and as well as...
  16. Is it possible to seal/epoxy the active rear stabilizer bar?

    Range Rover Sport / L320
I had mine replaced but prior to, I used Lucas power steering stop leak and it WORKED!!! Try that first if it's not a huge leak. Should hold you over until you can afford to have the sway bar replaced.
  17. Global Window Closing with key RRS HSE 2013

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Global window close is a feature that is disabled by default due to the possibility that someone's head can get caught while you're closing the windows. The good news is that this can be re-enabled using the IIDTool. If you're planning on having the rover for awhile, get the IIDTool because...
  18. Brake Pad and Rotor Replacement

    Range Rover Sport / L320
It really depends on how you drive. If you're a fidgety driver who is constantly switching between brakeand gas pedal then your brakes will wear out quicker. Also, if you aren't smooth with your braking you will wear out the rotors quicker and may even warp them. I took a racing course a few...
  19. Clean the Hood Latch sensor with rubbing alcohol.

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Totally agree Arby's but if you take a REAL close look at the sensor it is a round stainless steel spring that when compressed it triggers for lack of a better word, a "button" which when pressed it tells the car that the hood is closed. It's such a simple device and Arby, I have a feeling you...
  20. Clean the Hood Latch sensor with rubbing alcohol.

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Good question. I parked my car I. The garage so I would t have to lock it but yes the alarm would have gone off if I had left the sensor broken
