Need Lower Plastic Piece to Mirror Assembly. Possible?

I only need the only plastic piece for my driver side mirror. Bottom plastic piece has been cracked but it seems may only be able to purchase a complete assembly which seems to be a complete waste knowing that I only need the plastic piece. Anyone happen to know where to locate it?

Local junkyard? Also check eBay frequently, those odds and ends often pop up there. Make sure you pick a matching mirror, though (e.g. with or without powerfold, puddle light, etc.)

Their is no technical name as it is part of the mirror assembly. Technically the technical name would be "mirror"

    Perhaps it can be repaired?

Then you can repaint it with the Union Jack.

Space isn't remote at all. It's only an hour's drive away if your car could go straight upwards.

My passenger mirror plastic got broken from a branch in our ice storm. Dealer wants $400 for a replacement without glass.. Ouch.

Look on the bright side, a few inches the other way and you are looking at a bigger claim.

BPUtah.com sells new assemblies for a bit less ($335), but used ones pop up on eBay for half that much every now and then, if you aren't in a rush.
