    Re: Zerk / Grease Points?

Its a good question but I haven't found any yet. Grease fittings are going the way of the dinosaurs. I still have to periodically grease the U-joint on the driveshaft in my Toyota, I have not seen similar instructions for the RRS. I suppose I should crawl under there and check or perhaps Dave will stop by this thread.

Space isn't remote at all. It's only an hour's drive away if your car could go straight upwards.

    Re: Zerk / Grease Points?

    There are none.

There is one u-joint in the drive line, and it is not servicable, there rest are CV joints and considered filled for life. There are no slip joints in either shaft either, lateral play is made up in the CVs.

None of the ball joints have grease fittings either(at least that I have ever seen or serviced)

The good news in this, is that these components don't fail very often at all. A member recently reported a rear drive shaft failure, but I have never seen one. The ball joints don't fail too often either, and when they do, it is generally not in a way that grease would have helped (play, not binding, although wear from grease loss will cause play, but they don't loose their grease often either)
