Winter Tires/Wheels for 2012 RR Sport

with my many trips and stays in Tahoe, Big Bear etc, I'm looking to get winter tires and wheels for the trips from LA to the mountains. Any ideas for suppliers? Also looking for Tire suggestions? Want to keep the look of the Stock Wheels but need to find a place other than the dealer for the purchase.

I have almost the same question. I want to fit BF Goodrich All Terrains to my new 2012 RRS in order to preserve the 20" road wheels and tyres when using the car off-road or in winter. So I am trying to identify the correct wheel and tyre size for the car. I think it comes down to the question of what is the minimum wheel size the RRS can accept to house the discs and calipers. I am going to check out the Disco 3 wheel options 18" and if they will fit then match this to the BF Goodrich tyre options to find the closest match to the overall rolling circumference. Any other ideas?

Lots of information on winter tires. If you have an HSE, then you can use 19" wheels, thus you have a choice of an all-season or all-terrain that does well in snow (e.g., Nokian WRG2, Lattitude Tour HP, ATR, Grabber) or a HP Winter (Vredestein Wintrac 4 Extreme or Nextreme, Pirelli or Michelin). The winter tires will be a compromise is SoCal, and wear quicker, though I know folks in NorCal that run the Vredesteins all year - happily. Lots of Cayenne owners like the Nokians as an all-around tire in the NE and NW.

I'm running the Latitude Alpin for winter tires, I flet they were most like the Latitude diamaris. that where stock. They are a little louder but not bad, the ride is pretty good. They come in the same size as the stock tires.
