    Hey guys,

Just wondering if these LED's will fit an MY06-09. I have an 08 RRS SC which I'm working on finishing up a facelift this week, so i will have the newer style bumper and the headlights. Im hoping the wiring will be similar.

Curious to whether the factory RRS DRL's dim when the headlights come on or do they just turn off completely?

The dealer I used to install them asked if I wanted them on all the time. Mine go off when the headlights come on, that's the way I wanted them to operate. I also opted for them to not interface with the drive control, so mine come on as soon as the truck is started.

When I did the install, the wires coming from the controller only managed on/off, not dimming.

I wonder how the OEM controller differs from the Philips 8 LED DRL controller. According to Philips, the DRL's will dim by 50% when the headlights come on.

Does anyone know what wire, or fuse supplies power when the vehicle is started?

I'd like my DL's to be on whenever the car is running.

This is good oem stuff. On my startech front bumper the LEDs dim when headlights go on and turn on and off whenever car is turned on or shut off.

I wish the oem units behaved the same way. Keeping them on full power at night is absolutely blinding other drivers.

I LOVED it (sold this car two weeks ago)...but I am 21 catering to "ohh ahh" bimbos when I see them out...not sure how men with a wife and kids feel. (sorry for pic of me, couldn't find anything else)

PM me if you are regional to NY. I can do this.

Are you guys seeing a gap between the plastic shroud piece and the actual lens of the LED DRL? There's enough of a gap to where I see the foam part. My body shop guys says it's as close as he could get it as he simply followed the (crappy) instructions. maybe it's there to make sure the heat dissipates or doesn't melt the plastic piece around it?

    I do like the look.

On my setup, I don't see any foam. I actually don't remember if there was any, but it seems familiar.

The bracket which bolts in from behind to hold the light in was actually quite snug. I put in screws in the fascia piece to keep it from popping out due to the fit.

Just ordered a set. Still debating on if I should do the install myself or have it done professionally. The install on the bumper doesn't look bad at all. The wiring is what I'm worried about.
