No one knows if an x will do anything to change the drone or deceleration pop. Chances are it won't make a difference as the muffler isn't chambered separately so essentially it's a crossover and does the same thing an x would do.

I'm still debating if I should do this to my 2011 Non Supercharged. Really don't want any sort or drone. I really want to hear a sound clip.

Removed 7 and straight piped, sounds great! Does backfire a little when jumping off the throttle from being under load.. but it's not too bad.. if you're gentle on the throttle you don't really hear any of it.. Great mod

No has a sound clip to share. Guess I'll have to invest the $70-$100 to remove mines.

There are a few sound clips owners have posted in previous posts. Sounds pretty good

Just got this done - WHOA. Sounds like a proper V8 should sound. For comparison, i'd compare it to how an ML63 AMG sounds, complete with the crackling/popping sound when releasing the foot off the accelerator after the heavy grumble.

Resonator was removed and a (custom, my Indy didn't have any on hand) straight pipe was put in place. $300CAD, but well worth it.

    And, no drone unless >2500RPM.

Would really like to hear it on the Non-Supercharged RRS.

Did you notice any loss of low end torque? Having removed my #7 resonator, I seem to have lost some low end torque solely according to feel, not any calculated info.

    Re: Removing the resonator...should I?

Hey guys, wanted to update this thread with a video I made for you guys. Unfortunately, I got off on the wrong foot with some of you on the forum and came off as spammy. I apologize once again and want to move forward in a more beneficial and helpful way. So I'd like to share this video of my 2012 Range Rover Sport HSE to highlight the #7 delete. It sounds amazing to me and for those considering the mod, I hope this video helps! I burned through a lot of gas putting this together for you guys but at least I had a huge smile on my face throughout. Feel free to ask me any questions regarding the mod, I would be more than happy to help!
Video starts out with startup, then interior sound then exterior sound. I will also be making another video reviewing the mod, giving my opinions on it, how it is living with it, likes and dislikes, etc. in the future. For those who would rather hear the car and not me, this one is for you! (The driving becomes more spirited as the video goes on!)

With all things considered, that's actually loud. Did you have an external mic suctioned out in the rear of the vehicle? Sounds good though.
