    Plastic Steering Column Cover

I took off the plastic steering column surround on my 1991 RRC. It has two plastic bits - one on each side of the steering wheel. The one on the left tucks away behind the dash. The one on the right sticks out slightly. Just wondering if this is normal. I can’t seem to get the right side tucked away like the left and don’t want to force it and break something.

They can be tricky to line up
As long as you have the right screws you can get it together
I believe it has 2 sets of bottom screws
And the two screws on the sides with the long connector

To confirm, that round plastic bit should be hidden by the dash, right? I keep looking at the gap and wan to make sure I don’t break a piece of plastic forcing something where it isn’t supposed to go. I appreciate your help!

Perfect. That’s how mine looks as well. I guess it’s meant to be that way.
