Ok, so I found the diagnostic help for an ABS light that just won’t go out. Here are the codes:
2-3, 2-8, 2-12, 2-13, 3-8, 4-12.
The only one I cannot decode is 2-3. The rest I know, but the strange thing is that even when clearing them all, the one that stays is 4-14.
This 92 SWB sat for about 8 years. Mice made a home out of the heater box and most of the wiring around it.
I’ve rebuild and resourced most of the parts and wiring that was noticeably broken, faulty or eaten. It’s now a reliable trail rig, but I’d really like the ABS to work to take advantage of the ETC.
I’ve replaced most of the sensors, and reseated them against the exciters, but I still have the steady light. Where are the grounds located for the ABS system. Is there a way to test the ABS ECU to see if I need to replace it? Any other way to trouble shoot the system and find the root cause of the failure?
