Arrow Which size boots for our ball joints?

Boots are disintegrated off the ball joints, but ball joints are still very tight. Want to just replace the boots packed with fresh grease. Can anyone indicate what size the boots are?

since these are not serviceable and the few which are do not get lubed often, ball joints get replaced if and when booths fail this is because ball joints get filled with debris and water. basically it would be futile to renew dust caps only.
in any case looks like they may be 15x38x26

Those linked to look about right to me without having one to measure handy. I've had to replace boots regularly. It seems the modern ball joints have boots that appear to be made from a sort of vinyl rather than rubber and they only last a year or so. As long as you use a lever type splitter rather than a wedge to separate the joints, it's a simple, quick job.

I chased down an older thread on this question and the answer at the time was Energy Suspension 9.13103G which measures about 12 x 31 x24.

These have a bit smaller shaft diameter then your link (14x31x23) or the 15x38x26 95Classic recommended. I have a set of the ES but I have not found the time install to check if they work. Too many projects.

The ES style may not work as well as the ones you linked to--the PB look more OEM

Much thanks all. Maybe I should just replace them since getting that far in...to that end, do people use OEM with the clear boots, or are these Lemforders any good? Seems it's a ZF brand.

Lemforder are OEM, they supply Land Rover and BMW.
