    Bonnet earth strap attachment point

I got interrupted from completing a head gasket replacement on my sons hand-me-down P38. The motor has been stripped down for 4 months, and now I can't remember where the bonnet ground strap attaches to. I believe it attaches to the rear lifting ring bolt on the head. This is the large strap that goes from the right side of the bonnet down and across to ? Could someone please go out and take a look at your P38 look for me.
Thanks guys, my memory isn't what it used to be.

The back of the head is pretty flat; there's only one hole in it as far as I can feel; that's where the the strap connects. I don't know how you'll go getting in there to re-attach it. I guess it goes back on before you have the head back on.

Thanks for confirming the location Tom. I still have the plenum and valve covers off, so it wont be that hard.

It’s a little fiddly, but easily doable.
