Just wanted to share this pic of an aftermarket heater core 2 ys old. I replaced it with a oem valeo from a low milage Range Rover.
The Valeo model was much heavier and solid than the aftermarket. You can see that the aftermarket developed cracks
around the orings, mabey from bumping the pipes from inside the engine bay. Anyways thought it would last much longer.
Had to do the bend the frame down trick to swap. Also what the heck is that plastic in there?
