    Giovanni and Tim_Holland meeting!

I still had a set of 19'' Range Rover wheels, and Giovanni wanted to buy them, so today he came, and we changed wheels directly.

    Pictures of wheelchange:

    yep, that's giovanni :P

    That's all!

Oh to have a garage big enough to get a Rangie into, let alone being able to jack one up in! The last car that I got into my garage was my Freelander and even then I had to fold the wing mirrors in to get through the door once inside there was plenty of room.
    Great pics guys

I'm having both of our garage doors replaced with fully electric curtain type doors so that I can maximise my garage space and get a Range Rover inside, as the M5 gets in with about 3 inches to spare!

    It's not cheap!

    !9 Inch wheels on TD6

Does schanging the wheels to 19's invalidate the warranty.
I see that 19's are listed on the td6 autobiography on LR web site

19"s are standard in the US, (all of our RRs are HSE's, which I believe correlates with the Vogue in the UK?), with 20"s optional. I don't see any reason why putting new 19"s on a RR that didn't come with them originally would void the warranty; (unless they were aftermarket wheels without the proper offset, etc.).

As I understand it, the warranty can be invalidated if you fit wheels that are greater in size to the manufactureres recommendation. There is some confusion as to whether 20" alloys from Land Rover should be fitted to the TD6.

Some of our users here have 22" wheels on TD6's. how does it work guys?

I think the official line from the dealers will be that it in fact does invalidate the warranty but it all depends on what the fault is and how likely the wheels are a contributory factor...

I had a leak in my air suspension shortly after taking delivery and am running 22" Overfinch wheels on my TD6. Intially the dealer tried to riggle out of the repair saying the wheels had invalidated the warranty even though the car was still under 500 miles! It took a phone call to Land Rover Customer Services to eventually get them to pay up.

In future I'll put my original 18" wheels back on next time the car goes in for any warranty work.

From what I remember, Land Rover only recommend fitting wheels up to 18" on the TD6, any larger (including OE wheels) and you're on your own!
