All Terrain Tires for 20" Wheels

I have a 2011 RR SC on order with 20" wheels. Does anyone know of an all terrain tire which will fit on them? If not, any suggestions as to an acceptable All Terrain tire / Wheel package which could be used during the winter/hunting months?

Recommend you do a search, as it is all over.

But anyways, I'm using 275/55R20 Cooper LTZs, and quite happy with them.

same here in the 255/55 ltz coopers. i have a spare set of the 255 45 20s if you want a bargain on a set that is barely used but has the same diameter as stock. I went with the larger ones to get more sidewall, however i can say the "look" is less appealing with the larger tires, but the functionality is better for hard off roading with more sidewall.

Ditto on the coopers. I have a set and they've been performing well. Almost time for me to rotate them already. They were awesome this winter (we had crazy amounts of snow and extreme cold). Have only taken a short jaunt on a trail so far, but seemed to do fine. Hopefully I'll have time for some proper back country expeditions this summer with the family.

Have the 285/50/20 coopers and love them as well. They are a little louder than I thought they would be, but still great.

Spacers? All Terrain Tires for 20" Wheels

So, I've been reading with great interest all the A/T tire threads and I'm ready to pull the trigger on Cooper LTZs. Yes or no question for those who have them: are spacers required on the front or not, for the 275/55s and/or the 285/50s? Someone in here said they were; others have not mentioned them. Truck is an 07 SC with stock SC wheels. I have 265/50-20 Blizzaks on now that need to come off soon; there isn't much clearance to the strut and I'm worried that either size of the Coopers might rub. Thanks! alpo

You shouldn't need spacers for either size with your SC wheels. Some people might need them for the 285's if they have the stock 03-05 wheels, but the 275's don't need any spacers even for the older wheels, they work fine on my '04

Nitto makes the TerraGrappler in a 265/50-20.
General makes the new AT in a 275/45-20, but it is not available in the US - the Brits are raving about it, however.

I'm surprised that so many of you are using Coopers in a 275/55-20, as that is a really common size with a lot of AT's available. Why not the Pirelli ATR, Yoko A/T-S, or Bridgestone Revo2, which are all top rated from both Consumer Reports and Tirerack? I have had all three on various SUV's, and they are all great tires; albeit, I have never had driven on the Coopers.

Coopers are more aggressive than those others you mentioned, and I had a good experience with my old Cooper STTs.
