Carpathian grey 2019. Ive been debating weather I should black the lettering out or not, since Carpathian grey is dark I feel like the letters migh be lost in the dark paint. Here’s a picture -
I ordered mine Carpathian Grey with the black out lettering. Although I get it's not everyone's cup of tea. It won't be here until the end of next month, so I cannot post any pictures of it. But here are two videos of that particular color combination so you can see for yourself what it looks like.
I think silver is the best. I have a Santorini black Sport with silver letters and it just pops beautifully, black lettering just makes it look so bland, like an Explorer...
Like I said, different strokes for different folks. I think the black makes it look more aggressive... the opposite of bland. I also wanted the black lettering because I ordered the 22" black rims. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
Black it all out. Letters, fender and hood vents, wheels, tint. I have Corris Gray, and love everything about the blacked out look. I get lots of compliments.
I would black the lettering out..Alternatively I've painted my lettering to match my calipers. In my case my Cayenne Turbo was black with Yellow Calipers so I had the lettering done in yellow. It looked sharp.
I wouldnt go black, the lettering will disappear into the hood, then it looks like a ford explorer. have you thought about making it about two shades lighter gray than the body color, would still give the stealth look, but also just be noticeable to set it apart from the explorers'.
