    CarPlay runs better than the native system in my experience.

    I agree! On my 2018 RRS with the newest software, CarPlay is fast, responsive, and works great. Resolution of the screen looks good to me as well. I have not had any software issues in more than a month.

    I own a 2018 Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic. I was informed by my dealer that the 19A update is not available for this model. Was wondering if other members have had 19A installed on a 2018 RRS?

    Maybe you're one of those unlucky few that cannot get the smartphone pack either?

    I was able to have the dealer install 18C with the smartphone pack which is working well. However, I wanted to update the software to 19A. If other 2018 RRS are able to do this then I wonder if it is a dealer issue?

    I just had the Dallas Dealership install on Saturday. They said 19A was released to them on Friday afternoon, and I was the first to get it. I have not had much time to mess with it yet, but so far so good. Seems "SLIGHTLY" more responsive and CarPlay seems to be running better. I was on 18D and started getting full black screens while driving, so hopefully 19A will be better. Also, they told me they turned on "over the air" (OTA) updates, so as soon as 19B is released I will test that out and report back.

    It sounds like a dealer issue.

    I just had mine in for a new sims card due to errors on 4-22. They updated me to 19A and activated SOTA. I have not had a chance to really use it yet but so far so good.

    Thank you to all for their responses. I was able to use this information to help me in ensuring my dealer would be able to upgrade my software to 19A.
