    Climate control with remote start

    Can anyone help?
2017 RR HSE Td6 Car starts, 15 minutes later car has no heat inside, still cold as OAT, also when I drive away, with heat on, a strong smell of CO2 burst inside of vehicle for a minute...
Why is that? Such an inefficient system?
Or I must learn something else?
    Please help

Re: Climate control wit remote start

Still under warranty? If so, take it in asap.
If it isn't under warranty, take it to someone who can diagnose it in short order. If you are indeed smelling exhaust gasses inside, then needless to say that isnt good.....
If you want to do neither, then check the coolant level and cap first off.

Re: Climate control with remote start

    Thanks for the advice.
I did go to the dealer after I wrote.
It is under warranty its a 2017 RR HSE Td6.

I was told that when I run the remote start, the climate uses heat from the engine itself and not the climate control on diesel RR, I thought it was odd, and service advisor couldn't explain how the system works.

For the smell issue...I was told to, when I use remote start, as soon as I enter the vehicle, to close the re-circulation and test if any CO2 still comes in, as the source of CO2 on that diesel engine is from the engine compartment, and that most likely nothing is wrong.
So I will test and see if he is actually correct and will review again.

The only thing I am still on a limbo is to understand how the climate works on this RR Td6. If anyone knows, please add to this tread.
    Thanks a lot.
