This vehicle was a dream purchase for me a few weeks ago. I’d wanted a P38Range Rover for ages - that model represented everything about the Land Rover mystique to me plus I find it more attractive than what’s currently offered. It turns out that we aren’t a good fit. I need a daily driver and it needs TLC. So it’s been sitting in the garage.
Since I’ve had it, I’ve replaced the pollen filters, front bump stops, rear window lift supports, the right hood support, the positive battery cable and an arm rest cover.
The interior is in incredible shape for a 19 year old vehicle. The previous owner replaced the air suspension with coil springs. The air springs are in a box should you want to back convert. Unbelievably it doesn’t drip - my garage floor is still clean. It does seep so I am in process of cleaning the underside.
Another reason i have to part with it is that a previous owner substituted a straight pipe for the front muffler, so it’s too loud for my neighborhood. So basically it’s an unrestored 19 year old Range Rover with deep rubber, fading paint and a bit of an exhaust note, 159,133 miles as of posting date.
Features: tinted windows, Harmon/Kardon sound system, General Grabber tires.
Clear blue Texas title.
