    ILand diagnostic tool

I was wondering if anyone has bought the ILand diagnostic tool from Atlantic British and wonder what their thoughts are about it? I'm thinking about getting one, and it looks like it's packed with useful features, and can be used on a android phone (which I use). Thoughts? Here's the link to it.

    Re: ILand diagnostic tool

I bought one about two months ago for an 04 L322. It hasworked extremely well.
I was having issues with airbag codes and my air suspensionshorting (turning off and not back on). Both required a dealer check/scan tofix at a cost of $170 for a diagnostic check. For me the iland was well worthexpense. It cleared the codes in less than 30 seconds.
I have experienced the air suspension issue several times;each time the iland clears the code and the compressor turns back on instantly.

Now you have to figure out why the compressor is logging the code. Is it an overheat issue?

Thanks for the advice. Not sure,it is sporadic when it happens. I replaced the compressor about 9 months ago,no leaks in any of the bags. When Iclear the fault, I can go quite a while without an issue. I think maybe a badwire and hitting a bump or two is setting it off.

That still doesn;t tell us what the code is.

Why don't they also show the codes? Do you basically have to buy a unit like iCarsoft LR V2.0 Multi-system ECU Scan Tool to go along with iLand diagnostic tool?

I recently bought an iLAND and codes are shown, I was having transmission issues on my 2008 and pulled codes with no issues. Pulled other codes as well for another issue I still need to look into.
