Land Rover Jaguar Sherman Oaks is the only Independent in Southern California that both sells and services Range Rovers (and other Land Rover models). This shop was established in 1960 as British Motor Mechanics, San Francisco and relocated to San Rafael in 1972 as Ed Wright's British Car Repair. Land Rovers and Range Rovers are a specialty. The current owner, Clint Wright, has recently added a special lift for Range Rovers with air suspension to avoid damaging the suspension by overextending it as conventional lifts can. They also have a Rovacom diagnostic system, giving them just as much ability as the dealer to check all of the inputs to and the outputs from the vehicle's computers. Also useful is the Rovacom's recording feature which facilitates repair of intermittent problems. Ed Wright's has all the software covering Range Rovers from 1987 to the present.

Clint is a Brit, a Stanford graduate and is fully up to date and at home with the modern electronics and computer systems found on your late model Range Rover. Clint finds that many owners do not realize that his shop is fully qualified to perform Range Rover service even under factory warranty, providing a full alternative to the dealer. They also honor third party extended warranty contracts.
