Owner Patrick O'Reilly describes his shop as a modest facility
located minutes from downtown Albany, providing service and repairs for
Jaguar and Land Rover/Range Rover owners throughout New York's Capital
District, Saratoga region and beyond. Patrick has been working on
British cars for 30 years, and has dealer-level diagnostic equipment.
Shown at right is one of Patrick's recent LR3 projects, showing that
his capabilities for outfitting as well as repairs go well beyond the
conventional dealer approach!
Unlike the large impersonal dealerships, when you call this shop you
get the owner Patrick on the phone; he is the one who will perform the

Discovery Automotive is a small repair shop that gives you TRULY
personal service -- you deal directly with the owner, Scott Pier, who
is a Land Rover Master Technician. Scott started his own shop in 2006
after 5 years of Land Rover dealership experience. He has electronic
scan tools and is getting a specific Land Rover Diagnostic system this
year. Scott is a Land Rover Master Certified Technician, as well as an
ASE Master Technician, and can work on all makes of vehicles. His new
business is geared towards Land Rovers and German vehicles. Since the
current Rover line owes a lot to the years of BMW ownership, this is an
ideal combination.
Scott's new shop is only 15 minutes from Binghamton. This is going to
