Road to Star City, Nevada
Star City is one of the most interesting and least accessible of ghost towns, situated high in the Humboldt Range in the middle of Nevada. There are numerous rock ruins and old mines, all at an elevatio approaching 7,000 feet. Access is by a 4WD road which requires careful rock crawling.
Coyote Canyon, Nevada
This remote 4WD road lies on the southern edge of Lake Winnemucca and makes an interesting exit from the black Rock Desert, 50 dirt miles to the north.

Indian Springs, Nevada.
A Rover makes a sunset stop at the abandoned cowherd's cabin in Indian Springs, a large number of dirt miles southeast of Gabbs, Nevada.
Storm Clouds Over Oriental Wash, Nevada
Oriental Wash drains into the northern end of Death Valley from the Nevada side, and was the scene of much early mining activity. A primitive road still accesses it from the graded dirt Death Valley-Lone Pine Road.
