Range Rover III 2-Way Radio
Installations

Ray Lindner of Australia
fitted a UHF radio set to his "Series 3" Range
Rover, and kindly shared his installation information with us. For the
antenn, Ray made a bracket that uses the same two mounting bolts that
the driving light uses to bolt to the Range Rover bar. You would need
something different for the aerial if you did not have the Range Rover
bar and/or driving lights.
The radio Ray used is a GME Electrophone series TX3400. The main part
of the radio is hidden under the driver's seat, with just the
detachable control face mounted to the Range Rover's instrument panel.
