Overview
For 2008 model year, the Range Rover Sport – Land
Rover’s best
selling vehicle worldwide – offered several new cosmetic and
luxury refinements. A new Ebony colour centre stack was standard, an
improved Brunel metallic finish replaced the Rhodium finish and dark
stained Zebrano was available as a new wood finish. A new tan premium
leather upholstery colour was available, with improved carpet mats
and a stainless steel tread strip.
8-way electric passenger
seats and electric lumbar support adjustments for driver’s seats
was introduced on all top end SE and HSE spec vehicles and satellite
navigation became standard on all SE models.
The Supercharged Sport also got power-folding exterior mirrors, eight-way-adjustable passenger seat, and additional interior accents. An exclusive Sport LE sported an aggressive exterior treatment, adaptive front lighting, and adaptive cruise control.
The
manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the Range Rover Sport
HSE was $58,500 while the Supercharged model had a 2008
MSRP of $71,950. Both prices included the
destination charge of about $775. California emissions charges were
$100 extra.
No changes were made from the 2006 & 7 model years.

Wheels & Tires:
19x9 inch wheels with 255/50R19 tires continued to be standard on
the HSE, while
the Supercharged model came with 20x9.5 inch wheels and 255/45R20
tires. As usual, more alloy wheel variations were however offered
The exterior was basically unchanged except for
the power-folding exterior mirrors
provided on the Supercharged model.
