    Another going INSANE noise thread

2012 Range Rover...about 3 months old, nothing much to complain about so far, except for....this god-forsaken "noise" coming from the passenger seat area.

Abruptly stopping, or going around a corner, a rolling noise-similar to a steel ball rolling on another piece of metal- comes from the passenger area. It almost sounds like a bolt or screw- maybe an extra one- is down in the seat track, or possibly even the console area.

I have looked under, around, down in..you name it..the seat area. Next step is to remove the $%#$ed seat I guess. If theres nothing there, its on to the console. I *think* I'm 90% sure its in the seat somewhere.

Any ideas, suggestions, or even a description on how difficult it might be to take out the seat would be much appreciated!!

And yes..I know I could take it to the dealer, but I'd rather do it myself. Just me being me.

OK...I've read enough gremlins and quirks. I'll give up the off road capability and shop for a Jaguar XJ instead.

Get out the 18 hp Craftsman shop vac and put the thin nozzle on it and let her rip?

If you find a seat switch button...

    Props to you Umbertob!

Will update thread once I get around to pulling the seat.

Hopefully, the plastic pieces in the diagram will just pop loose??
