May I ask what an oil galley plug is? Function?

All I know is that I believe Oil Gallery and Oil Galley plugs are the same thing (it was called Gallery in my paperwork) It seems to be some kind of plug that is in the engine block, it was described as cup shaped to me and there was a leak around it. I'm not mechanical at all so sorry for the lame description
Found this from google:
Oil "galley" is a misspelling of the term oil "gallery." An oil gallery is an internal passageway in the block of an automobile engine that conducts oil to key components such as the main bearings.

Normal driving around town; park the RRS in the garage - no coolant smell.
Drive on the Interstate for an hour or longer; park the RRS in the garage - fairly strong coolant smell.
Look for steam, leaks, drips - nothing.
Maybe a cooling system by product?

My 2011 RRS is back at the dealership and still has an oil leak. The oil gallery plug was replaced about 4 weeks ago but the truck still sounded really loud and still has burning smell. It's been at the dealership for 1 week and they can't find the oil leak yet. They did find other issues and replaced both fuel sending units, muffler, exhaust, & rear taillight. The taillight had condensation build up after it would rain. Any one else having oil leak issues? I've had this truck for almost 11 months and it now has 8300 miles.
Have they checked to make sure the burning oil smell is not from anti-corrosion oil residues, per SSM 51477? You'd think any residues would have burned out completely by now but who knows... See this thread, about half way down the page: 2010+ RRS Common Issues and Solutions Thread - Also, hopefully they used the right replacement oil gallery plug (with red "threadlocker" coating) as per SM 49817, otherwise the leak may have returned.
Besides the smell, they found oil leaking and said they weren't sure if it's from the precious leak or a new leak. Yesterday they were driving my trick around and checking if oil was leaking. They were also doing a dye test.
They said the packing or insulation inside the muffler was defective and had to be replaced. The fuel sending units were also replaced because whenever the gas tank was full, it would still show full tank even after driving 40 miles.
I would be disappointed too if I have an oil leak at 7k miles on a brand new vehicle. the dealer is just going thru the steps in correcting it. like the post above, make sure they read the tsb in using the proper oil plug seal(red). the dye test is to check if it is engine oil coming out between the engine and tranny which can be due to block porosity vs excessive anti-corrosion oil. im sure everything should be sorted out.
I finally received an updated on my 2011 RRS with 8000 miles, they are pretty sure the oil leak is coming from the rear main seal. This truck has had several repairs done in less than a year.
