I picked-up some 4, 6 and 8mm O-rings. One of these weekends I'll go through the whole system and replace every one, along with the drier and filter...
Tom, did you do this? I have seen several great guides to doing a valve block rebuild, but no "kits" for sale anymore. Is all I need a pile of 4mm, 6mm and 8mm o-rings?
Contact a member named Scotty on here (you'll usually find him in the P38 forum). He is based in the US and does a complete kit of O rings for the P38 valve block which is virtually identical to the one on the Classic.
Literally replaced my entire system of o ring seals last week. You can but from a guy on ebay. I can send you the link if you like. Pleasant to deal with, however, there was an extra metal collar included in it for the diaphram in the P38 models. I installed it because it looked like it fit.... That was a headache and a half, but in the end it prevented the new diaphram in my Classic EAS system from operating, allowing air to bypass.
Watch out for the springs!!
My system is exceptionally quick now and operates far smoother than before.
I have the O-rings, but so far have only installed new Dunlop air bladders. I'm looking for a used valve block to rebuild on the bench, so I don't have to crack my system open...
Thanks guys. I didn't have my settings to subscribe myself to threads I post to, doh!
DHSE1, I'd like the link please, but I'll try look up this Scotty too.
