    lug nut size?

I have a 95 SWB RRC. It didn't come with the lug wrench. I need to know what size the lug nut is so I can buy the proper socket.
    thanks

    2-1/16 if I remember correctly. Or 27mm.

    Shouldn't that 17/16th or 27mm.

1-1/16 for the lug nuts (if original).. Not easy to come around. I found a socket for mine at a local pawn shop for $.25
Mine were in so tight, I couldn't get them out with the tyre wrench, and had to use socket and impact tools to remove.
Be ready to find some interesting sizes and systems in your car as you work on it. Some are neither metric, nor standard. Whitworth sizes were used on some systems (hydraulics mostly I believe).
I am still trying to figure out what is the correct wrench size for my bleed screws.

Sorry, my 2-1/16" might have been a bit misleading. But 27mm will work.
NOTE: My '95 Classic accepts a 27mm just fine, but a friend's '95 Classic has some issues. Both the lug nut wrench, and my 27mm only just get a grasp of the nut. It's the same for all of his nuts, not just one or two. We changed out his shocks a couple of weeks ago and the hardest part of the whole job was getting the wheels off. (We're talking the nuts iwth the silly, loose chrome covers).

if you're having difficulty finding a socket to fit, perhaps you have the same weird issue that my friend has. Any suggestions appreciated.

Don't get them off. Just be careful and use the 27 mm. And don't let them fall!!!

    lug nuts

Hey everybody, new to the site today. If you have offroaded seriously or the rr has been, the lug nuts have swelled. I found this out the hard way with a flat in death valley at about 115 degrees and a 1 1/16 wrench. I now carry a 28 mm and 1 1/8 socket with a breaker bar. They swell according to heat and usage and I've rarely been able to fit the stock wrench.
