Sounds like the EAS ECU to me. have coils for suspension by chance?
Display readout says "EAS Manual" when you first start it?
Someone took the ignorant way out and swapped the OEM airbags for coils IMO.

I think ignorance had alot to do with it to because it would be bad if they did put coils my car is sitting on the bump stops so there still air springs I hope I think who ever had it tried to " hit switches" or something to that effect the cord on the makeshift switch box was pretty long

Crazy is the word. in 99.9% of casses the problem isn't with the ecu, so I completely mis the point of what they were trying to achieve. By passing the ecu won't solve any problems, it'll just hide a bad height sensor.

Yeah they have a household electric box that has the toggle switches for the air suspension. The baffling part to me is the fact that the wire that they ran is not in the ecu but it's connected to the wire harness coming into the car . The eas ecu was left unplugged it makes no kind of sense to me . I will take a picture and post as soon as I get home from work.

It makes perfect sense. When the bags wear out and start to leak people start butchering things instead of fixing things. Using the field recovery information from the home pages someone has made a jumper box to manuall air up their bags so they don't have to deal with hard faults and flat suspension. These bypass systems work great until you burn out the compressor at which point you ahve even more to repair than if you had fixed the initial issues when they first appeared. There are a few members here that have done so and documented the wiring and build.

it may just have hard faulted, if you think it won't harm anything reconnect the EAS ecu, get/make the cable and use the RSW software to see what's up.

Rrt I think you are right because my suspension was flat I put my hand on the compressor and nothing no vibration no sound so I believe that the compressor has burnt it self out from constantly pumping air to the bags witch I think has drained my battery causing my power problem (people should realize if you don't know what your doing a short cut is just not worth it) . I'm going to get my battery check today hopefully its just needs a charge

    Re: why would someone bypass

Hold on, back up a bit. You need to learn about the system and recognize what has been done with the bypass. The pump will not run without activating it using the bypass system. If you remove the bypass system then you need to have a fault reading system to identify the issues and solve them before the pump will run with the ECU hooked up. Take some time to read the field recovery section of home pages so you understand what the bypass has taken the place of. Read the sticky above and the EAS section of home pages so you understand how it should properly work. Then you can jump in and determine if your pump is fried or not.

If I were in your shoes I'd be really happy with the bypass at this time. You can manually fill the tank to check your pump operation. You can manually fill one bag at a time to identify bag or line issues one corner at a time.
