Handbook symbol is on my a/c screen

Yesterday i noticed the handbook with a exclamation mark is on in my a/c display i know it means air conditioning fault but what can it be? and how can it be checked?

That does not mean there is an "air conditioning fault". It means any of a hundred things with your HVAC system has not passed self check. You can check the obvious things pointed out in the numerous threads and hope or you can have the codes read so you know exactly what the issue is.

To the point, is anything not working correctly?

I swear the book comes on my panel purely to mess with me. Maybe it's just doing a self check of the book symbol light itself (that would be a joke, a poor one I know).

Ours does it too,turn the engine off,turn it back on again and hey presto....it's gone....sometimes...lol

Have you checked the Pollen Filters?
