    New Member..Hello

    I have a 2000 RR reading gear box failure, traction control, and windows and sunroof not set..had to replace negitive battery cable from battery to silonoid. what should I try next. still wont start.

    There is no negative cable from the solinoid to the battery.

    Customers don’t expect you to be perfect.
    They do expect you to fix things when they go wrong.

    Are you sure you don't mean positive cable? Negative/earth/grounding vravels from battery to shoch tower to engine. The starter grounds via it's bolts to the engine bell/housing.

    Yes I meant the postive cable. Not sure what I should check next. Can you make any suggestions?

    More from you = more from us. Simple as that,
    Start with why you replaced the cable, then what messages it is giving you now.
    Gearbox error etc are normally due to low voltage, so double check everything and do the electrical sticky that in on top of the P38 page, then post the results.

    im assuming the battery's good? ockham's razor and all that.
