    Radio Wiring Diagram

    2001 HSE Stereo System

Where i can i find the wiring diagram for this thing? i can't find a pin out in the rave manual under electrical.

I'm installing a new Ipod and USB deck.

NO! I DO NOT WANT TO USE THE FACTORY DECK. DON'T EVEN SAY IT.

Full radio diagrams are in ETM E6. Make sure you are looking at 1999 and newer RAVE ETM 5th edition. Each model year will have different head connector numbers. For instance a couple of your connectors will be C1374 and C1424... the pin outs and location photos will be in ETM section Z6 (connector views).

Unless you are trying to reinvent the wheel what more do you need? Between the existing posts on this topic and the ETM you should have everything you need as long as you can read a schematic.

JUST HOOK THE SUBWOOFER into any of the rear positive speaker wires on the new deck. it will work fine off those.

Thanks for that list, I think I'll be making good use of it soon. My truck has a nasty after market headunit that looks to have been "Professionally" fitted using a bunch of Scotch Blocks and miles of insulation tape. It's a complete mess behind the unit and in both front doors too with bullet connectors cut 'n splice action and bodge up all over the place.

Just wanted to let every one know that i just fininshed installing a Pioneer AVH-P5200BT into my 1996 4.0 and it connects without any problems. i connected the subwoofer speaker wire(Orange) to the rear left speaker wire and connected all the negative speaker wires to approate negative speaker wire, insted of connecting them all togeather.

there is no amp noise or any other problems...yet.

    next is the CB radio...
