How to replace the EAS compressor thermal switch?

    Hi,

I've 3 compressors on the bench, i need to do something.
I tried to replace thermal switch by opening the electrical part of the compressor, what a mess to do. Soldered it but doesn't work.
Is there any possibility to replace it without opening the whole thing?
I remember a topic where somebody had mounted it outside.

    May you help me?

    Thanks

you have to drill out the rivets, then drill/tap for machine-screws to hold the circuit board on. If soldering the new switch in doesn't work there may be a bad trace on the PCB or another issue somewhere.
