many thanks A newbie
hi thanks for the reply no all lights go of as they should which i thought if was ABS problem it be beeping at me !! just at slow speed it seems to pump not discs or pads as new so got me stumped
Do you feel the judder under your foot as the ABS kicks in or is it just the pump running that you can hear? The pump runs to put pressure into the system and will cut in every 4 or 5 presses of the pedal. Any more often than that means that the brake accumulator is on it's way out.
Try just cleaning the sensors and reluctor ring, mud or debris can make the ABS seem over sensitive, and make sure all the sensors are fully pushed home in the hub.
Tried changing your shoes? No, seriously! With one of my pairs of work boots the friction between the pedal rubber and the sole gave a vibration that felt exactly like the ABS kicking in, when I pressed the pedal quite hard...
hi think you are on the ball with the pump as seems to be getting worse and breaking is different every time t
o the point it semi locked on then purged forward so found one on the bay see it does the job thanks for your input
