Hello all!
I've been reading the forum for a while now as I am planning on buying a new to me RR SC. My budget is max $35,000 and need some help figuring out what you all, the experts, think I should do. As a bit of back story I have a 2015 GMC Yukon which I absolutely love, however the lease is up in a month and the buyout, $42,000, is too much nor do I think its valued so highly. My good friend has a 2016 RR SC and I LOVE IT. Unfortunately, That's out of the budget. Alas, I am looking at the 5.0 SC engine MY's. My intuition points me to get a 2012 as its the last year they ever built that model, and by then most of the kinks must have been worked out. I have been looking at different models all with their pro's and con's I need your help to figure out what difference there is between these models and how it affects me.
Require Features: 360 degree camera and blind spot
Really really really want.......but could possibly live without: 1200w sound system. Is there really a big difference in the stock vs upgraded sound?
Cool to have: reclining rear seats/ 4 zone climate
I've read all about the timing chain guide issue on these, which scares me a bit when thinking about purchasing a RR.
Below are a couple of the ones I'm looking at with a bit of my commentary. Let me know what you all think.
Auto Biography, has had the timing chain guide repaired, has ALL the features i want. not 100% about the interior color, OMG leather headliner. Horrible rims but can get swapped.
Price: Top End, and has high miles. But its a 2012 Auto Biography.

Supercharged Black on Black, Is very affordable. Does not have premium surround sound. Does have blind spot and 360 degree. Miles are OK. I could buy a warranty and not worry about issues, but its had three owners and I cannot see it was fixed for timing chain issue.

This one is $35,559, the website is wrong. Very clean SC, higher end of spectrum in price, but low miles and no premium surround.

I'm curious to see what you all think, I thank you all already for any and all help you are able to provide. You all know these beasts alot better than me and I value your opinion.
Thank you!
