As an update to this thread. Mine has just failed on "Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated resulting in excessive movement offside rear lower suspension" . I wondered what the occasional squeaking was on small bumps in the road. I've ordered two kits from eBay with upper and lower bushes plus bolts etc plus removal tools.
After reading various posts, my plan is raise rear on to axle stands, remove rear wheels, support the lower suspension wishbone, remove the lower bolt holding shock absorber to wishbone and hub. Pull hub out of wish bone, remove bush circlip, remove bush with laser tool (5977), clean and insert new bush with tool, new circlip, push back in to wishbone, insert new bolt to secure shock, wishbone and hub.
Similar for upper but be aware of ABS wire.
