My 2007 SC RR is back in the shop again. (2nd time in 2 weeks). This car only has 6000 miles on it and has been nothing but grief since owning it. It has multiple electrical issues, fault warnings and service light problems. So yesterday I get a call, and the dealer says they are going to replace the rear differential. I said that sounds mechanical not electrical and he said it was both. Hmmm. Well, I am at his mercy because I don't know boo about either, so here I sit. He said they contacted Land Rover and they have had some vehicles doing the same thing as mine and this is what fixed it...so we'll see. Any comments?
What would happen if you did have a bad rear diff???
Do think they are in the bizz of BS... If they do go thru with it, tell them you want all the old parts. I think they are milking LRNA for warrenty money... and using you to SCAM LRNA. Or maybe LRNA is Scaming their warrenty insurance co. Mean wail you walk, drive a rental, pay insurance on your expensive veh.

Discard the vehicle -- get LRNA to buy it back and put you in a new one if it falls under your state's lemon laws. Too bad you can't get LRNA to put you in a higher quality vehicle from another manufacturer.
My 07RR SC is still in the shop after replacing the rear differential last week. Today I called to see if it was done and he said no, they are having issues with the warning lights again. They are "programing" it and hope to find a fix. So I said, "is this thing going to get lemoned?" and the service guy said it's getting real close! So, I remain patient, (what good does it do to be flaming upset at this point?). We'll see what tomorrow brings. The vehicle has been in the shop 16 days out of the last 2 1/2 weeks.
Dealers don't lemon the vehicles, you have to initiate it yourself with LRNA, search lemon law or google "California Beverly Song Consumer Protection Act". 30 days is the threashold.

I know exactly how you feel right now. You just want your Range Rover in your garage, not theirs. I had to do this with two Range Rover's in a row. They finally got it right the third time. Trust me, deal with the problem's now and lemon the Range Rover if necessary, but stick it out because a great Range Rover is worth the wait.
Thanks.
