How to turn off rear windshield wiper?

I realize this is a real newbie question, but I have read the manual 10 times (and checked this forum) and can't figure out the right sequence of taps to turn off the rear wiper. Can someone please post how to do it?

It's controlled by the right stalk. Pull it back (towards you) a click so it's not in the forward position.

You can set the frequency at which it wipes by pushing the stalk forward to start the wiper, pulling it back and leaving it for the desired number of seconds between wipes, then pushing forward again.

    I can't believe I didn't try that. It's off now, thank you.

is there any way to disable the rear wiper all together?
(I am fitting some signage to my rear screen and do not want the wiper to brush over it).

How can I remove the actual wiper blade arm from the vehicle?

    Thanks in advance.

To be able to remove the rear wiper arm, on that matter to even change the rear wiper blade, I've had to remove the rear cover where the third brake light is installed by removing the upper three screws accessible by opening the tailgate.
    God Bless!
