Is this a good deal on a RRS V8?

The price on auto trader has actually been lowered quite a bit. Down to $48,000. Im wondering if something is wrong here because I havent seen a '14 V8 for under $50k yet

Still listed at $55k. Even at $48K only you can decide if it is a good deal for your local market. It's is pretty base and plain for a V8. However when you see a Cadillac dealership passing it on from where ever they aquired it you have to wonder it's history. Auction springs to mind. Had they taken it on trade they most likely would have replaced the headlamp washer cap and overhead trim plug. When such basics and inexpensive repairs are missing you have to seriously wonder about the previous owner's actual level of care and maintenance. At only 3 years old it has 12 hits on the title record. Only a few of those would be registration/license renewal and maybe a couple of service notations. What are the other half dozen bits?
Common sense is not a gift, it is a punishment.
Because you have to deal with everyone who doesn’t have it.

Im not familiar with what the hits mean? In your opinion would you be interested in it or no? It does have these optional packages.
    5 + 2 seating.
    santorini black contrast roof
    adaptive cruise w/ queue assist
    dynamic package
    meridian premium

At this price it probably has accidents on it or a branded/lemon title. Run a carfax.

Might be a discrepancy but the dealer has this listed with 53k miles and carfax shows an odometer reading of over 57k miles over a month ago. I dont know man, whole thing seems questionable.

On the actual dealer site , the pricing is 48k. Also, it's a Supercharged dynamic with plenty of options. Doesn't sound too bad except for what you're mentioning on the dealer not taking steps to replace simple, missing articles.

Dealer also has a firenze red 2016 SCV8 with 4000 miles that they are listing incorrectly as a montalcino red exterior.

It does seem like a really good price for a 2014 SCV8 with ~50,000 miles but the missing pieces are a red flag. Such an easy thing to fix. Maybe ask the Cadillac dealer how they got it and see if you can have the LR dealer check out the mechanics?

Re: Is this a good deal on a RRS V8?

Well so far thru emails I am assured it hasnt been in an accident, and the reason it is priced so low is because if they have a vehicle more than 60 days they discount it heavily they said.

I will ask why that piece is missing and where they got the vehicle from.

I also asked her to do a walk around and look inside and let me know of any scratches or chips no matter how small, same for tears or stains and she says none

I just ran a Auto check on it. Looks Good.. Cargurus trade in value is below. May be the color and you have to be careful buying a car without warranty... Thatz the only thing I dont like here... You being in MO and if you get it shipped, risky bet.

I was gonna drive to get it IF I do and visit my friend for the weekend, next weekend. I also asked them to quote me 2yr/24,000 warranty of the most full warranty I can get.
At that price why not get a extended warranty, right?

I dont think LR will give you extended warranty on an expired vehicle... Check it out.

I have been looking for 2 months and I never went after anything that is beyond 4 years of 50K miles... Even local. use cargurus.com for better research.

They SHOULD Certified Pre-owned it (usually up to 60k miles they do it), if it fit the bill - why did it not happen here?
