Can I use MY IIDTool to scan a friends RRS for codes?

    Hey guys,

A colleague at work is interested in getting a 2012 RRS SC and we might head to Montreal to check it out. I'd like to know if even though my IIDTool will not be activated on the other RRS, could it pull up any codes? I know that non activated IIDTools have some functionality. Hopefully this is one of them.

You can add full functionality for an additional vehicle for only $77 by purchasing an additional vehicle license directly from GAP. https://www.gap-diagnostic.com/shop/...nd-eascontrol/

That doesn't answer his question nor does $77 sound like a wise investment to check out a possible purchase.
Have you ever listened to someone for awhile
and wondered who ties their shoelaces for them?

All the information is available on the gap website on what functions can be used across multiple vehicles and which ones need addtl vin liscenses to be purchased.
