    Quick guides

Land Rover has posted a couple of quick guides on their tech site today, one illustrating the 2013 Range Rover's controls and interior features, and a separate one for the new Rear Seat Entertainment. Posting here (in case they yank them off TOPIx, which they've done in the past after posting prematurely for brand new models) should you wish to take a peek at the new features. This appears to be for the US market, as there is no mention of a dual view touchscreen.

Ahhh, I don't check TOPIx for one day and I miss it! Nice find, can't wait for the owners manual to show up.

I was really hoping they would update the radio/portable media/blutooth/nav significantly but it doesn't look like they really did anything. Same stuff just a little nicer gui.

Spoke too soon, Owner's Handbook is live. Now I have to go subscribe to see if the Workshop one is completely live too.

A littledisappointing if I am honest. One article mentioned that owners have theability to alter suspension hardness but I can't see that feature listedanywhere. I think it just like the 2012 model and completely adaptive with noselection available. Anyone know for sure?

The "big" new EAS feature is the new Off-Road 1 mode (1.6" above normal height) that stays engaged up to 50 mph, while the "old" Off-Road height, now called Off-Road 2 (+ 2.9"), continues lowering at 30 mph. Hardly earth shattering, but good news for those who used to complain that the old speed limit of 30 mph to prevent the suspensions to lower to normal height was too low on certain dirt roads. Everything else seems to work the same as before to me... Lot less weight to lift though, so hopefully longer lasting components.

well said. Guessing from the dune bashing video, i think weight had a big roll in air spring failure on the mark 3. I wonder why the Lexus air suspension never fail despite more weight than mark3?

Thanks for those Umberto. The 35" wading spec. is pretty impressive... I am also glad to see you can still set the Terrain Response manually.

    Re: Quick guides

The links still work here, but they were posted 6+ months ago, when "official" documentation for the then-new Range Rover was still unavailable. All manuals are available on TopiX now.

    Re: Quick guides

Old thread, but I found something need in the manual I thought would be useful (in case you don't read the manual).

If you hold the "illumination" button on the remote, and then press the unlock button, the car will raise the suspension one level. Likewise if you hold the "illumination" button and press the trunk button, the car will drop one level. One level means going from access mode to normal, and then again to higher upgrade, and vice versa.
