Anyone heard if the added interior size will facilitate an optional third row of seats in the new RR?

Third row seats have been available for all Range Rovers since the P38 came out. They are extremely pricey but great fun for the kids.
Customers don’t expect you to be perfect.
They do expect you to fix things when they go wrong.
I read somewhere that the next RR Sport will have the option of a built-in 3rd row. Haven't heard anything about the FFRR.

Was at the dealer getting my rotors and pads replaced on my '11 and asked the sales guys. They were pretty sure third row seats would not be a manufacturer option on the new full size RR.
I have never seen Land Rover offer a third row seat option on the Range Rover. If there is such a thing, it must be aftermarket.
There are a couple of companies that make them for P38 and Mark III. Overfinch makes both solid bench as well as split design.

Yes, but they are more of an add-on than a factory option. They just don't look right, IMHO.

If they were smart, they'd offer the option of captain's chairs in the 2nd row, and a bench in back. There are many families that like that option. That way you can get the rear passengers to hop right down the middle of the car to the back, and two in the captain's chairs. That's van utility in a sport utility. See the Ford Explorer and GMC/Chevy Acadia/Traverse. People are eating that config up. You would think their engineers already know this, right?
I really don't like comparing the FFRR to any other full size truck because it's just not full-sized.
